Fujian Normal University (Fujian Normal University), located in the famous city in southeastern China - Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, is a university jointly established by the Fujian Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China [1], a provincial key comprehensive university, and was selected as a national "2011" Plan", the national "characteristic key discipline project" construction of colleges and universities, the national construction of high-level university public-affiliated postgraduate program, the Ministry of Education's "Excellent Teacher Training Program", the Ministry of Education's Demonstration Base for Studying in China, and one of the three key high-level universities in Fujian Province. , To develop a training base for teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Southeast Asia, a pilot school for the country to recruit Taiwan students alone, to support key Chinese teaching schools in neighboring countries, and to accept Chinese government scholarships for international students in China.

Our school began to recruit foreign students in 1984. So far, it has enrolled more than 10,000 foreign students from more than 50 countries including the United States, Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines. In 2003, it initiated the Chinese teaching volunteer program and the joint training program for foreign local Chinese teachers in colleges and universities across the country. In the past 20 years, it has dispatched 19 batches of nearly 1,000 volunteer Chinese language teachers to 26 countries including the Philippines, the United States, Indonesia, and Thailand, and trained them in Southeast Asian countries such as the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia in a 2+2 or 3+1 cooperative school model. The Sino-Japanese cooperative education project of the college is the first Sino-foreign cooperative education project approved by the Ministry of Education of Fujian Normal University. So far, the project has recommended 222 outstanding graduates from undergraduate colleges to study for a master's degree at Kyoto University of Information Science and Technology, Japan, of which 199 have already obtained a master's degree and another 17 are studying for a master's degree.
