Hebei University, located in Baoding City, Hebei Province, is a key comprehensive university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Hebei Province, and also a first-level university supported by Hebei Province for the construction of a first-class national university. International Exchange and Cooperation of Hebei University
Hebei University is one of the earliest universities in New China to carry out international student education. In 1965, it accepted more than 100 Vietnamese students. It was one of the 23 universities in the country that undertook Chinese language training for Vietnamese students. After the reform and opening up, the school resumed enrolling foreign students. . In 2003, the school established the School of International Exchange and Education, with an office, an international student management section, and a teaching management section. Over the past 50 years, the scale of international students has continued to expand, and the level of international student training has also developed from language training to an academic education system covering more than 40 majors including undergraduates, masters, and doctoral degrees.
