General Information of Southwest University of Political Science & Law
Southwest University of Political Science and Law is located in Chongqing, a famous historical and cultural city and the only municipality directly under the Central Government in the Midwest. It's one of the universities the country's first batch of outstanding legal talent education and training bases, entrusted training institutions for Chinese government scholarships for international students in China, and universities in the central and western regions for basic capacity building projects.
The university currently has three campuses, namely Shapingba Campus, Yubei Campus and Baoshenghu Campus, covering a total area of more than 3,000 acres. Among them, Yubei Campus is the education and teaching center for undergraduates and postgraduates, Shapingba Campus is a base for continuing education and cadre training, and Baoshenghu Campus is a base for scientific research and innovation and entrepreneurship. There are more than 24,000 students and more than 2,000 faculty members. International Cooperation and Exchange of Southwest University of Political Science & Law
The university adheres to the international development strategy, and has established exchanges and cooperation with more than 180 universities or institutions in nearly 40 countries and regions along the "Belt and Road", and carried out more than 120 student exchange programs. Selected as the Ministry of Education's "Excellent Undergraduate International Exchange Program", "National Construction High-level University Publicly-affiliated Postgraduate Program" and "Law Master's Degree (Foreign Lawyers) Postgraduate Training Program", selected as the Chongqing International Characteristic Project Construction University and "Bayu Overseas" Brainstorming Program". It has cooperated with well-known universities in the United States, Russia, Canada, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, Belgium, Israel and other countries to organize more than 30 short-term academic courses for international students in China. There are currently two Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, including Coventry University's undergraduate education in law and Case Western Reserve University's jurisprudence program in the United States. 1. SWUPL President Scholarship for International Students
Southwest University of Political Science and Law (SWUPL) offers SWUPL President Scholarship to the accepted international students of Bachelor program, Master program, Ph.D program, Chinese language program and exchange program.
The SWUPL President Scholarship for degree programs includes three categories: Category A, B and C.
(1) Doctoral program
Category A: Tuition and accommodation fees are free, with living allowance of 2000 RMB per month (10 months in total)
Category B: Tuition and accommodation fees are free, with living allowance of 1500 RMB per month (10 months in total)
Category C: Tuition and accommodation fees are free, with living allowance of 1000 RMB per month (10 months in total)
(2) Master Program
Category A: Tuition and accommodation fees are free, with living allowance of 1500 RMB per month (10 months in total)
Category B: Tuition and accommodation fees are free, with living allowance of 1000 RMB per month (10 months in total)
Category C: Tuition and accommodation fees are free, with living allowance of 700 RMB per month (10 months in total)
(3) Undergraduate Program
